The front of the card is the main focus during grading. We check centering, corners, edges, and surface quality. Scratches, print lines, or dents are reviewed closely.

For Pokémon cards, this is key for alternate arts from Sword & Shield and Scarlet & Violet, as well as display cards like Pikachu Van Gogh Promo.

The back often shows wear first. We inspect edge whitening, corner wear, and surface marks. Centering is also checked.
